Recent developments of mm-submm receiver system are enabling us to survey molecular clouds very extensively
in CO higher transition (J=2-1, 3-2, and higher) lines. I will present recent results of such observations
toward the Galaxy and the Magellanic Clouds, and suggest what will be revealed with this type of observations.
I will also focus on preliminary results of extensive observations of Galactic molecular clouds in the line of
12CO, 13CO, and C18O (J=2-1) by the 1.85m telescope developed by Osaka Prefecture
University and the collaborators.
