The Brazilian Astrobiology Group working at Sao Paulo University joined NASA Astrobiology Institute in this
year. The work of the group covers various fields including gamma ray bursts, photobiology, planetary
dynamics, exoplanets and habitability, formation of prebiotic molecules and various laboratory works.
A general overview is given on the current state and recent decelopment of their work in Brazil.
