The K2 mission provided us with the opportunity to observe not only exoplanets, the original goal of the
Kepler mission, but also targets in our own Solar system using the Kepler Space Telescope. Each K2 field
was selected in the vicinity of the ecliptic and observed continuously for ~80 days, giving of the chance
to obtain continuous, high quality light curves of small bodies, from the main belt to the farthest
reaches of the trans-Neptunian region. In this presentation I am summarizing the results obtained with K2
in the last two years in this research field.
