| Mysterious eclipses of Boyajian's star: an overview and possible explanations |

| This is a 'normal' star that features irregular asymmetric drops in the brightness that are as deep as 20%. The most important observations, observational constraints, and properties of the star will be introduced. It is not possible to mention all the proposed ideas and speculations behind its mystery. So only a few possible explanations, that were developed to a point when they can be directly compared with the observations, will be reviewed in more detail. |
